Wilson's Birthday @ Elcerdo

Today is my darling's 25th birthday.
25.05.2008

I've brought him a Manchester United Home Jersey 07/08 for his birthday. He looked all cool in this jersey, man, we both loveeee MU and was so proud they did well in the EPL and Champs League.

- My lovely boyfriend in his fav. team jersey -

He's such a busy man who gotta work on Sundays, even on his big day. (I hope he doesn't have to work on his wedding, haha) So we only get to have dinner at night.

I've chosen the "Elcerdo Restaurant" located at Changkat Bukit Bintang. A restaurant that serves porkielicious "nose to tail" pork eating.

- Elcerdo Restaurant -

Yea, I don't fancy pork at all. In fact I don't eat pork. Haha, but he loves pork so much, I can't be selfish right? So I decided to give this restaurant a try. Little did I expect, the food is actually...
GOOD.

- Table cloth -

First, we ordered the 'Mixed Appetizer Plate' with 4 types of pork, namely French “Rillettes”; Pate of Pig Trotter; Spanish Salami; Pork Liver Pate and Pig Cheek in Wine Aspic. Served with bread and some sauces. The taste of these pork, (standing on the feet of a non-pork-eater) they're actually nice. Not as pork as I thought, no strong scent of the porkism, especially the salami.
(** Omg, *&^%$#, I just knew I ate pig's cheek!!! I didn't read the menu nicely.. Wilson ordered this..*(^%$^&***)

- Woo.. I ate pig's cheek, their rosy cheeks, T_T -

Next come the main dishes, Wilson's was the "Marinated Pork Shoulder Steak" which they marinated for 48hours with the Finest Paprika, Herbs, Onions, Garlic and Mild Dijon Mustard. I tried a bite of the pork meat, well, again, this non-pork eater thinks the meat tasted OK. Ok, after the cheek, now I eat the shoulder, what else har?

- Someone is so excited, lol -

Next, here's mine. After browsing, examining the menu for quite some time, I decided to order the "Spicy Sausages". A whole plate of pork sausages and bacon, fried with garlic, spices and minced bacon. Amazingly this is quite nice to me, the bacon tasted good, in fact I think this part of the pork is still acceptable. Wilson told the lady manager that I don't take pork, she was so surprised and decided to give me a complimentary soup of the day. :) I would like to make an announcement..

I HAVE EATEN THE MOST PORK IN MY LIFE, IN A DAY! Cheerrrss!!~ ^@^

- Today in history -

Ok, after all the pork-consuming, here come the dessert.. "Hot & Cold" which is actually a a sinful combination of Hot Mixed Berries and Red Wine on Vanilla Ice Cream. We could adjust the amount of cream and red wine to be put in the ice-cream.

- The dessert is so-so only -

Before we ended the marathon of porking, we were served with complimentary Margarita drink.

- Cheersss, for the best of luck to my darling -

The dinner was great, the waiters' very friendly. They have this special culture to break the plates after eating to bring luck, not sure which country has this culture, German? So we heard "pling, plang.." everywhere in the restaurant. Haha, and the ambient of the restaurant is extremely good, cosy and everywhere is decorated with adorable piggies. Sigh, cute piggies waiting to be slaughtered. =.=''

- Us -

- LOL : Found this cutie balerina piggy in the toilet deco, haha -

My ratings for this restaurant:
Food : 4/5 (consider I'm a non-pork eater)
Ambient : 5/5
Service : 5/5
Location : 4/5
Overall Comment : Definitely worth a visit, even if you're a non-pork eater.

Visit ELCERDO for more details. :)

W.O.T.P.

10th of November 2012, the day we booked our first property together as husband and wife. It was indeed a huge milestone after we signed our ROM papers. This is a luxury condominium developed by Selangor Dredging Berhad and it's located at Bandar Tun Hussein Onn, Batu 9, Cheras Selatan. This is a very interesting development because it is situated on 8.9 acres of Freehold land with 4.2 acres of landscaped environment (Yes, half of the development is actually greenery!) The unit built-up range between 916 sq. ft. to 4,311 sq. ft. and sold for about RM450 - RM680 per square feet.  We bought a unit at Block C which is lowest block on the left. Location of W.O.T.P. with proposed MRT station few kilometers away.  The lovely greenery and facilities are really serene and awesome! Facilities: 50m lap pool Children’s wading pool Children outdoor play area Teen’s play area 2 nos. of indoor badminton courts Gym/ aerobic room Function hall by the pool (6 ban

What am I?

It has been some time since I last updated this blog. Heaps of stuff happened and I just had the time to pull a break and evaluate the events that happened to me in the past 1 month. I've changed my job, moving into sales line is not an easy decision to make. I was doubtful with myself until I really come on board. Perhaps it may be too soon to tell where I stand in this job, but I was really thankful that my current boss gave me an insight of myself. We had sessions to understand what are our temperament. This is something that govern what kind of job that fits us. Apparently I am an "Artisan" after few rounds of personality tests. An artisan loves freedom, leads by taking action, seeks to have impact and variation, needs appreciation, a risk taker, problem solver and an opportunist. When I read the full description bout what I am, I immediately understand why I felt in constraint and bored working in the manufacturing line. I am just not that type of person that falls i

Life

I'll be quarter a century old in a day. In a day's time my birthday would come, and most probably would just simply go. Didn't expect much this year, or maybe age has certain impact on me. I'll be 25 soon. This is so alarming scary, time just flew too fast. Everything changes. I looked like awfully nerdy 3 years ago when I was still in UPM. I've started working one year ago, this was the fastest one year in my life. Life has been so committed to work and work, I couldn't realise time flew across and here I am. Evaluating what I've done over the past 1 year. I've learnt many many things, both in life and in work. From an ordinary 2nd upper graduate to now a project engineer. Nothing big achieved but I felt contented, at least I'm working towards my goal. It's just kinda overwhelming to think back times, was so excited on the 1st day of kindy, was so nervous going into primary school compound, was so trilled to step into secondary school, was so c
