Phuket - Day 4

It was a free and leisure day for us. I was awake at 6.30 in the morning feeling all refreshed, no more pain in the stomach and no more throwing up sensation. I had recovered! Feeling all excited bout the 2nd last day of the trip, we went for breakfast and planned for what to do. We decided to shop around the Patong Beach. Therefore our first destination is the Jyunceylon Shopping Center.

It's some sort like The Curve in KL, with a large open-air area in the middle of the complex. We spent a whole afternoon there shopping for some souvenirs and checking out price for items. We even tried out KFC for lunch to taste how Siamese KFC would be like, result, almost the same.

After lunch and shopping, we headed out of the complex for more shoppings and sightseeing. The weather was so hot and humid that every inch of my body sweat. Even with my sunglasses on, it was hard to see under the bright sun. But we ignored the heat and went on shopping for souvenirs for friends and family. We passed by some nice bar huts and I think it must be fun to have a drink or two peacefully there at night.

We continued our sighseeing till we reached the Patong Beach. The beach was very stunning with colourful umbrellas and pretty Mat Salleh tanning themselves. We strolled along the beach enjoying the cool breeze and splashing wave. The wave was big enough for surfers to test their skills with surfboards. We enjoyed the stroll very much, it was indeed very romantic :)

=^_^=

After beach strolling, we went back to hotel for a wash up before coming out for dinner. This was a free and leisure day so our dinner was not included. We decided to dine at a restaurant named "Lam Mai" for the cozy ambient and live band performances. The singers were really good and we enjoyed their performances whereby they sang songs like "Can't take my eyes off you", "Hotel California", "No One" etc.. The food was normal as we ordered simple Thai cuisine and the price was reasonable too.

After dinner we met up with our fellow travel mates and had a drink at the most happening disco in Bangla Road, D' Crocodile Club. We got to know that the aguas here were prettiest. We did enjoy their wild dancing but I kept wondering bout the stories May-may told me. Before we left the club, we took the opportunity to take some photographs with a few aguas. We chose the prettiest few. Of cause, we had to pay them tips for these photos.

The drink concluded our free and leisure day 4 at Phuket. We headed back hotel after that and called it a day. A tired but satisfied day.

Chinese Wedding Customs

We religiously followed the Chinese tradition for our wedding, quite many efforts were put in to fulfill the customs but nevertheless it made our wedding events more colourful and lovely. 1. Tai Chan (Wedding Initiation) The very first custom for a Chinese wedding is "Tai Chan" which means the Groom's family would make a visit to the Bride's family to initiate the intention for wedding, check on the compatibility of the couple and discuss on the "terms & conditions". But in modern days, this step is basically just a casual meet up between the 2 families to discuss on dinner details or any special customs arrangement for different dialect group etc. This is the case due to usually both families had already meet up during the R.O.M after lunch and they both should be well notified and acknowledged of the union. So Wilson's parents came along to my home for this, and we had a good discussion on especially the dinner part. We are organizing

What am I?

It has been some time since I last updated this blog. Heaps of stuff happened and I just had the time to pull a break and evaluate the events that happened to me in the past 1 month. I've changed my job, moving into sales line is not an easy decision to make. I was doubtful with myself until I really come on board. Perhaps it may be too soon to tell where I stand in this job, but I was really thankful that my current boss gave me an insight of myself. We had sessions to understand what are our temperament. This is something that govern what kind of job that fits us. Apparently I am an "Artisan" after few rounds of personality tests. An artisan loves freedom, leads by taking action, seeks to have impact and variation, needs appreciation, a risk taker, problem solver and an opportunist. When I read the full description bout what I am, I immediately understand why I felt in constraint and bored working in the manufacturing line. I am just not that type of person that falls i

W.O.T.P.

10th of November 2012, the day we booked our first property together as husband and wife. It was indeed a huge milestone after we signed our ROM papers. This is a luxury condominium developed by Selangor Dredging Berhad and it's located at Bandar Tun Hussein Onn, Batu 9, Cheras Selatan.
