Phuket - Day 3

My stomach didn't stop aching the whole night. I tried to forget the pain and forced myself to get up for the scheduled trip to Phi Phi Island. The smell of breakfast enough to send me throwing up in the toilet. So, with empty stomach we headed to Phi Phi Island located far from our hotel. My vomiting never stop even after we boarded the ferry. I started to feel dizzy and took a short nap on Wilson's lap. It took about 2 hours cruise to reach Phi Phi Island from the harbor.

- Phi Phi Island Bird Nest Cave -

The scenery was really nice, water was crystal clear and sky was stunning blue. If I'm not sick, I would be really excited. Still, I forced the snorkeling kit onto myself. With some accumulated breath I had, I jumped into the sea and snorkel for about half an hour. To my dismay, the corals were all dead in the sea unlike Redang Island. Nothing much to see in the sea really, just some limited fishes and dead black corals.

- My first bikini experience -

- Vomit non-stop, still pose like mad -

We decided to get up to the ferry deck so I could sniff some fresh air. There, my sickness didn't stop me from taking some nice photos with the bikini I'm wearing. I looked fat and I was too sick to realise. How shameful! Along the way, we passed a bird nest cave but the Thailand authorities had stop tourist from entering the cave lately to avoid unnecessary trauma to the birds. After snorkeling, we headed to "Long Beach" nearby for lunch. I didn't have anything and rushed straight to rest my head on a bench. There, I fainted for about an hour. My poor boyfriend had to accompany this patient and I knew he was extremely bored.

After the trip, we were sent back to hotel. I actually felt relieved to be back, by now everyone knew I was sick. So May-may offered to send me to the hospital to avoid my food poisoning to worsen. So along with 2 other guides, they drove me to the hospital. The atmosphere at the hospital was exactly like the ones shown in Thai horror movies, I was sooo scared!! But there was no doctor on duty at the hospital so they decided to send me to clinic instead. She paid for my medical fee and ordered a room service porridge for me. I suppose she was guilty for bringing me to eat rotten food. After eating medicine and the porridge, I went straight to bed. We were suppose to watch the "Dirty Show" that night, but I was sick. So we missed the show, I was so glad that Wilson accompanied me that night. I seriously thought he would opt for the show after I went to bed. How sweet of him but I felt guilty causing us to miss the show. Sigh.

Chinese Wedding Customs

We religiously followed the Chinese tradition for our wedding, quite many efforts were put in to fulfill the customs but nevertheless it made our wedding events more colourful and lovely. 1. Tai Chan (Wedding Initiation) The very first custom for a Chinese wedding is "Tai Chan" which means the Groom's family would make a visit to the Bride's family to initiate the intention for wedding, check on the compatibility of the couple and discuss on the "terms & conditions". But in modern days, this step is basically just a casual meet up between the 2 families to discuss on dinner details or any special customs arrangement for different dialect group etc. This is the case due to usually both families had already meet up during the R.O.M after lunch and they both should be well notified and acknowledged of the union. So Wilson's parents came along to my home for this, and we had a good discussion on especially the dinner part. We are organizing

What am I?

It has been some time since I last updated this blog. Heaps of stuff happened and I just had the time to pull a break and evaluate the events that happened to me in the past 1 month. I've changed my job, moving into sales line is not an easy decision to make. I was doubtful with myself until I really come on board. Perhaps it may be too soon to tell where I stand in this job, but I was really thankful that my current boss gave me an insight of myself. We had sessions to understand what are our temperament. This is something that govern what kind of job that fits us. Apparently I am an "Artisan" after few rounds of personality tests. An artisan loves freedom, leads by taking action, seeks to have impact and variation, needs appreciation, a risk taker, problem solver and an opportunist. When I read the full description bout what I am, I immediately understand why I felt in constraint and bored working in the manufacturing line. I am just not that type of person that falls i
