Phuket - Day 2

The second day of our trip started with a morning call at 7.30am. The hotel provided us with nice breakfast. After breakfast, we headed off to Phang Nga Bay to visit the James Bond's Island. James Bond Island, known originally and locally as Ko Tapu or Nail Island, found fame through the 1974 Bond film "The Man with the Golden Gun". The film starred Roger Moore and Christopher Lee has turned the previously unknown Phang Nga Bay into a major tourist attraction.

After walking around the island, cam whoring at the beautiful sceneries, we headed off to Panyee Floating Restaurant for lunch. Here we were served with seafood and the dessert was pineapple. Pineapples are amazingly delicious in Thailand. I can't help but ate many pieces. The Thai cuisine here tasted normal and I seriously thought Malaysian Thai cuisine is much nicer.

After lunch we were sent back to hotel. We had a rest before going out for dinner. That night we agreed on a massage session at May-may's massage center after dinner. All 10 of us chose the traditional Thai massage at 500Baht/2 hours per person. The massage was quite good as we were all exhausted from hectic working life. I heard my bones and joints giving cracking sounds every time the masseur gave a push or turn. After the massage, all of us felt rejuvenated and continued shopping around the area.

We walked for sometime before I started to feel a burning sensation in my stomach. I thought it might be the effects from the massage I had earlier. But the pain grew from bad to worse and I decided to get back to hotel for a rest. The pain just didn't go away, and I started throwing up after that. I had food poisoning. Thinking that the pain will go away after some rest was proven wrong. I had a whole sleepless night vomiting every single drop of water in my stomach. I was really worry bout my condition as we were scheduled to enjoy snorkeling at Phi Phi Island the following day.

Chinese Wedding Customs

We religiously followed the Chinese tradition for our wedding, quite many efforts were put in to fulfill the customs but nevertheless it made our wedding events more colourful and lovely. 1. Tai Chan (Wedding Initiation) The very first custom for a Chinese wedding is "Tai Chan" which means the Groom's family would make a visit to the Bride's family to initiate the intention for wedding, check on the compatibility of the couple and discuss on the "terms & conditions". But in modern days, this step is basically just a casual meet up between the 2 families to discuss on dinner details or any special customs arrangement for different dialect group etc. This is the case due to usually both families had already meet up during the R.O.M after lunch and they both should be well notified and acknowledged of the union. So Wilson's parents came along to my home for this, and we had a good discussion on especially the dinner part. We are organizing

What am I?

It has been some time since I last updated this blog. Heaps of stuff happened and I just had the time to pull a break and evaluate the events that happened to me in the past 1 month. I've changed my job, moving into sales line is not an easy decision to make. I was doubtful with myself until I really come on board. Perhaps it may be too soon to tell where I stand in this job, but I was really thankful that my current boss gave me an insight of myself. We had sessions to understand what are our temperament. This is something that govern what kind of job that fits us. Apparently I am an "Artisan" after few rounds of personality tests. An artisan loves freedom, leads by taking action, seeks to have impact and variation, needs appreciation, a risk taker, problem solver and an opportunist. When I read the full description bout what I am, I immediately understand why I felt in constraint and bored working in the manufacturing line. I am just not that type of person that falls i
