Singapore - Day 5

I woke up as early as 7am on the last day of my visit to Singapore. I will be visiting Sentosa Island with Peng! Had not been there since I was 10 or so. We washed up and checked out from the hostel, I left my luggage there anyway. We had our breakfast at a nearby Kopitiam.

- My Breakfast set: SGD 3.80 -

- Peng's Breakfast set: SGD 3.80 -

We then moved on to take the MRT to Vivo City and boarded the Sentosa Express for SDG 3.00 to Sentosa Island. We saw many teenagers with volleyball in hand going into the island for games. The journey into the island took around 10 minutes only.

- Siloso Beach, man made beach -

- Palawan beach, another man made beach -

- The giant Merlion -

- Me and Peng, underneath the Merlion -

- The skyride that cost 10 SGD, 2 ways -

We walked around the island for sightseeing, there were flower exhibition and it was really awesome.. though the exact date for the exhibition was not that day.

- Beautiful flowers -

- Future Expansion: Casino, expected to be done next year -

There goes our Sentosa Island trip, a little short as I had to catch my flight at 4pm. Anyhow we did tour around the island already. It was quite small and just 2 hours already enough to walk around the whole island. So we took the Sentosa Express back to Vivocity and MRT back to the hostel to get my luggage.

Peng accompany me to wait for the bus to airport. It was my first experience taking the public bus in Singapore. I was quite worry as I may not know which stop to go down. But I made it anyhow cause the airport stop was quite obvious. Haha. So I boarded my flight back to Malaysia in a blue colour Air Asia plane.

It was a great trip and I start to think, travelling alone isn't that scary after all. Having friends to tour around really helped me a lot. Thanks so much to them~

What am I?

It has been some time since I last updated this blog. Heaps of stuff happened and I just had the time to pull a break and evaluate the events that happened to me in the past 1 month. I've changed my job, moving into sales line is not an easy decision to make. I was doubtful with myself until I really come on board. Perhaps it may be too soon to tell where I stand in this job, but I was really thankful that my current boss gave me an insight of myself. We had sessions to understand what are our temperament. This is something that govern what kind of job that fits us. Apparently I am an "Artisan" after few rounds of personality tests. An artisan loves freedom, leads by taking action, seeks to have impact and variation, needs appreciation, a risk taker, problem solver and an opportunist. When I read the full description bout what I am, I immediately understand why I felt in constraint and bored working in the manufacturing line. I am just not that type of person that falls i...

New Haircut

A haircut for the new beginning :) My previous hairstyle was BOB, I took courage to cut it short last 2 years. So for the last 2 years I didn't visit saloon at all. Finally today I thought I have to cut off my out-of-shape hair, I have to trim it back into shape! Quite bored with layered hairstyle, so I tried the straight cut.. to make my hair look fuller and straight. Not bad, I quite like this hairstyle~ It's a preparation before I make digital perm later :P Long & Straight hair - Love it!

Flashbacks

- How it all started - I entered Victoria Institution, as a form 6 student. On the first day of school, we were divided into classes of FM 1 and FM 2. I was allocated in FM 2, and so did most of BBGS girls. We were contented with the arrangement, but not someone. He was from BBSP school, which I had never heard of. All other BBSP students were allocated in FM 1, with him as an alien in our class. I believe he was really angry with the arrangement. The class teacher promised him to swap, provided he top our FM2. Most of the time he won't be spending time in our class and preferred loitering around in the other class. We didn't really care much bout him and so did he. We didn't interact much, but in the class he was a gem to the teachers. Our chemistry teacher liked him so much that she told me, "that boy sitting at the edge of the class (referring to him) is a very good and clever boy ya?"I smirked :\ After many weeks, finally we had group...
