Singapore - Day 4

Ah Beng and Ah Lian promised to be my tour guide around the island on this day. So I followed them travelling around with MRT, man, I love their MRT!! Going anywhere is so simple and hassle-free!! We went shopping at Raffles city, Suntec, Vivo city, Citylink Mall, etc.. I don't remember all the names of the complexes we been to. I got myself a G2000 blouse, a shirt for Wilson also from G2000 and T-shirts for my brother. Couldn't get my mom anything so I decided to bring her for shopping later in KL.

As we were in Vivo city, Ah Beng suggested we go to Sentosa Island.. as we could board the train there from Vivo City. But the sun was too hot that day, almost burnt me off. So we went to watch the Mr. Gymnastic instead. Haha, see the muscular man showing their 6 packs. Geli!

Then, Beng and Lian pass on the tour guide job to my other friend, Peng. She was doing her law practice in Singapore too! So I will spend the rest of the day with her. We had dinner at a Japanese restaurant at Suntec City. Did a lot catch up with her, though we do have gathering every now and then. Peng is one of my best friend since form 1. We can chat everything under the sun!

After dinner Peng brought me to Funan Digital Mall, initially for me to lookout for GPS and handphone. But to our dismay, the mall was closed by 9pm. Sigh... anyway she brought me to another tourist attraction instead, Muzzafar Square. A mall that sells everything and opens for 24 hours, 7 days a week. Stuff there were cheaper but quite old stock, so didn't manage to get anything there too.

By 10pm we were already exhausted. We took the MRT to check into our hostel at Serangoon. The hostel was really cosy, for a 70 SGD per night. We had a room with all the furnitures from IKEA. haha.. I was too scared to stay alone in the hostel so I made Peng stayed with me there.

- One Florence Close Hostel -

- Our tiny puny room for 2 -

- Free internet service, a sofa and 2 fat cats -

Me and Peng decided to go for Sentosa Island the next day. She has not been into the island since years back, so we had some chit chats before dozing off.... feeling ever excited for tomorrow's program!

W.O.T.P.

10th of November 2012, the day we booked our first property together as husband and wife. It was indeed a huge milestone after we signed our ROM papers. This is a luxury condominium developed by Selangor Dredging Berhad and it's located at Bandar Tun Hussein Onn, Batu 9, Cheras Selatan. This is a very interesting development because it is situated on 8.9 acres of Freehold land with 4.2 acres of landscaped environment (Yes, half of the development is actually greenery!) The unit built-up range between 916 sq. ft. to 4,311 sq. ft. and sold for about RM450 - RM680 per square feet.  We bought a unit at Block C which is lowest block on the left. Location of W.O.T.P. with proposed MRT station few kilometers away.  The lovely greenery and facilities are really serene and awesome! Facilities: 50m lap pool Children’s wading pool Children outdoor play area Teen’s play area 2 nos. of indoor badminton courts Gym/ aerobi...

Flashbacks

- How it all started - I entered Victoria Institution, as a form 6 student. On the first day of school, we were divided into classes of FM 1 and FM 2. I was allocated in FM 2, and so did most of BBGS girls. We were contented with the arrangement, but not someone. He was from BBSP school, which I had never heard of. All other BBSP students were allocated in FM 1, with him as an alien in our class. I believe he was really angry with the arrangement. The class teacher promised him to swap, provided he top our FM2. Most of the time he won't be spending time in our class and preferred loitering around in the other class. We didn't really care much bout him and so did he. We didn't interact much, but in the class he was a gem to the teachers. Our chemistry teacher liked him so much that she told me, "that boy sitting at the edge of the class (referring to him) is a very good and clever boy ya?"I smirked :\ After many weeks, finally we had group...

What am I?

It has been some time since I last updated this blog. Heaps of stuff happened and I just had the time to pull a break and evaluate the events that happened to me in the past 1 month. I've changed my job, moving into sales line is not an easy decision to make. I was doubtful with myself until I really come on board. Perhaps it may be too soon to tell where I stand in this job, but I was really thankful that my current boss gave me an insight of myself. We had sessions to understand what are our temperament. This is something that govern what kind of job that fits us. Apparently I am an "Artisan" after few rounds of personality tests. An artisan loves freedom, leads by taking action, seeks to have impact and variation, needs appreciation, a risk taker, problem solver and an opportunist. When I read the full description bout what I am, I immediately understand why I felt in constraint and bored working in the manufacturing line. I am just not that type of person that falls i...
