The Song of Jigglypuff

This is me at work, always with my safety helmet, safety vest, safety goggles, safety shoes and walkie talkie. With the hot sun, rain, dust, lorries, bulldozers and so on.. I'm getting darker days by days.. Sigh.. I love my job.. but when can the construction be done? Really hope this can end soon, life as a "bangla head" isn't fun at all. :(

The other day my colleague brought a scale that is able to measure stuff like weight (obviously), fat content, moisture content, bone density, recommended kcal to eat a day etc.. the scale gave me an overall rate of 4 from 9 in terms of body fitness, namely label me as "UNDER EXERCISE". Gosh, with so much walking and physical work I endured lately in work, I'm still under exercise? Looks like I really HAVE to get down to some serious exercise. Swimming every weekend isn't enough? Going gym after work, twice a week? This can be done actually, depending if I could persistently follow the plan. The scale also stated that I should consume not more than 1039 kcal a day. This really freak me out, only a thousand kcal a day? As far as I'm concern, 2 pieces of Gardenia bread is already 200 kcal. Last night I was browsing through some blogs to check out for interesting recipes.. it has been quite long since I last cooked for Wilson. So I decided to make something he really likes, yeap.. PORK! And I came across a simple recipe to cook the Braised Pork Rice a.k.a Ru Lou Fan! I woke up at 8am to visit the wet market to buy cooking ingredient. The meat was quite costly, at RM8.50 for half a kg. Not sure if the market lady charged me more.. I also bought spices, green vege, eggs and rice wine before heading home. It took me 1 hour to prepare and cook this dish. Quite simple dish and really glad Wilson loves it. This is quite a balanced-diet dish, with meat, vege and egg. Just it maybe too fatty.. so it's not advisable to have these chunks of fat pork meat too often. I cooked, but personally didn't even try a piece of the pork. Never like the taste, but since Wilson loves it.. I'm dedicated to learn the dish anyhow. Glad it turned out alright. Maybe next time I shall try ...

WWF are urging the world to VOTE EARTH and reach the target of 1 billion votes, which will be presented to world leaders at the Global Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen 2009. This meeting will determine official government policies to take action against global warming, which will replace the Kyoto Protocol. It is the chance for the people of the world to make their voice heard. Earth Hour began in Sydney in 2007, when 2.2 million homes and businesses switched off their lights for one hour. In 2008 the message had grown into a global sustainability movement, with 50 million people switching off their lights....

I've watched this movie few weeks ago. Can't remember when was the last time I cried so much in a cinema. This story touched my heart and soul so deeply. It's not only about the cutey doey doo Labradoodle ekhem, Labrador Retriever... Marley.. It's about love, family, career, commitment, sacrifices etc one labours as we live. John and Jane Grogan's live resembles many ordinary couples, struggling to secure a comfortable place in the community. The act of balancing career and family is what a couple need to learn with patience. Like Jane said, nobody prepare you for this. Yes, when the time comes, like it or not, one has to know what to do. Both John and Jane sacrificed their passion for job for their growing family. John didn't do the job he loves as money is a concern. Jane quit her job to take care of their children. How many couples can do this, I could say loudly that I CAN and I WILL. But looking at how Jane break down due to the stress she cope while taking...

Me and Wilson went to Jason Mraz's concert at Stadium Negara Kuala Lumpur on the 4th of March 2009. We had 2 tickets at the Pitt (in front of the stage)! We were about 15 people away from the stage.. Jason Mraz is great performer, a great crowd pleaser.. We were all swept away by his singing.. music.. jokes.. The crowd were really supportive and all sang along with him! Amazingly and unexpectedly the crowd seemed to know all the songs and the lyrics! Well, to be honest I have no idea what are his other songs other than "I'm Yours" or "Lucky" before going for the concert. Listening to him singing live was a great experience, he has good vocal and extremely talented with his guitar skills! The quite large crowd at a very yesterday stadium.. Camwhoring before the show kicked off Jason sang songs such as "You & I both", "The Remedy", "If It Kills Me", "Live Is Wonderful" etc.. Now I felt like getting his album to list...

Finally, the first tool has moved in to our fab. Being the biggest investment in Selangor, the Chief Minister decided to pay my company a visit during the tool move in event. It was quite a grand event, though the program only occupied half a day. Many VIPs from Selangor, embassadors of Germany, PKNS and so on attended the ceremony including the press. The event made company Q even more happening. - Company Q - - Company Q's MD and Selangor's CM on the tour around the fab - - The VIPs - - A token of remembrance, Company Q's solar panel for the CM - - The organizer, Khor and usherers (me & Dila) - Eh, I did wear the kebaya borrowed by Dila. Looked extremely Nyonya that day, haha. Ever excited bout the grand opening of Company Q by April 2009. Will be a greater ceremony I presume.. :)
