Actual Day - Morning Session (Pt 2)

... continued from Actual Day - Morning Session (Pt 1)

The fetch bride entourage was made up of approximately 8 cars, my newly wed husband and his brothers used the walkie talkie to communicate with each other during the ride. From my home to the new home, takes about 45 minutes. Some sisters lost their way, but with our address, they anyhow made it here.

- Upon arriving, Billy, being the younger cousin brother to Wilson was tasked to "open the car door" at groom's home. There, he requesting for a fatter angpow to match his size -

- Finally the bride and groom came down from the car -

- Us and our bridal car -

- The brothers and sisters clapped and welcomed us to the new home -

..V..  peace ..V..

- First thing to do was to make offering to the ancestors and god in our new home, guided by the Chaperon Lady -

- Being watched by all the guests that day, all Wilson's relatives made their way here, some even from Bangkok! -

- After prayers to god and ancestor, we began the tea ceremony, started with my in-laws. Apparently the Bangkok relatives told my mother in law to touch my head during the tea ceremony, symbolize me as the new daughter in law will be filial to them. Well, well... -

- Then to the elder relatives, aunties and sister in law & her husband -

- Finally the younger relatives, mostly cousins; offered tea to us or some chose just to congratulate us -

- Next up was photo session, did not put up all the photos though, else will be just a photo entry! Us, with my parent in law -

- My beloved sister, in our hot pink theme! -

- Wilson's supportive brothers, their safety helmets taken off? -

- A group photo! -

- Then we headed upstairs to our bridal room, I was anxious to see how Wilson decorated it while waiting for the arrival of his bride -

- We had 2 baby boys to jump on our bed, a custom to symbolize luck in getting baby boy later on -

- But little Saujer was not having the best mood that day, aww -

- Darren, Wilson's little cousin brother even presented us a magic trick as a wedding gift! -

- Customary: Groom to take off the bride's veil and keep it in the cupboard, Bride to take off the groom's coat and put it on the bed -

- My sisters were all witnessing this event, finally we had chance to do our usual "ritual", camwhore!! -

- Final photo with the pink ladies, Sue and Chin Ye went back earlier due to personal issues -

- Flower tossing, Cammy is next in line! Yeah! -

- We finally settled down as husband and wife, customary. Wait! There is still the wedding dinner to go tomorrow night.. how exciting! -

With the end of the ceremony, all guests were served with a buffet lunch catering.

Overall our actual day morning session was very successful, of course there were some hiccups here and there but it was really fun and memorable. Our parents were happy, the ceremony and Chinese customs were well organized with the great help from the chaperon lady, Doris. Our relatives felt all happy to see us finally tying the knot. Our brothers and sisters had fun with the games and entourage, perhaps the games was piece of cake to them, but I believe meaning behind the games was fulfilled with fun and laughter.

W.O.T.P.

10th of November 2012, the day we booked our first property together as husband and wife. It was indeed a huge milestone after we signed our ROM papers. This is a luxury condominium developed by Selangor Dredging Berhad and it's located at Bandar Tun Hussein Onn, Batu 9, Cheras Selatan. This is a very interesting development because it is situated on 8.9 acres of Freehold land with 4.2 acres of landscaped environment (Yes, half of the development is actually greenery!) The unit built-up range between 916 sq. ft. to 4,311 sq. ft. and sold for about RM450 - RM680 per square feet.  We bought a unit at Block C which is lowest block on the left. Location of W.O.T.P. with proposed MRT station few kilometers away.  The lovely greenery and facilities are really serene and awesome! Facilities: 50m lap pool Children’s wading pool Children outdoor play area Teen’s play area 2 nos. of indoor badminton courts Gym/ aerobi...

Flashbacks

- How it all started - I entered Victoria Institution, as a form 6 student. On the first day of school, we were divided into classes of FM 1 and FM 2. I was allocated in FM 2, and so did most of BBGS girls. We were contented with the arrangement, but not someone. He was from BBSP school, which I had never heard of. All other BBSP students were allocated in FM 1, with him as an alien in our class. I believe he was really angry with the arrangement. The class teacher promised him to swap, provided he top our FM2. Most of the time he won't be spending time in our class and preferred loitering around in the other class. We didn't really care much bout him and so did he. We didn't interact much, but in the class he was a gem to the teachers. Our chemistry teacher liked him so much that she told me, "that boy sitting at the edge of the class (referring to him) is a very good and clever boy ya?"I smirked :\ After many weeks, finally we had group...

What am I?

It has been some time since I last updated this blog. Heaps of stuff happened and I just had the time to pull a break and evaluate the events that happened to me in the past 1 month. I've changed my job, moving into sales line is not an easy decision to make. I was doubtful with myself until I really come on board. Perhaps it may be too soon to tell where I stand in this job, but I was really thankful that my current boss gave me an insight of myself. We had sessions to understand what are our temperament. This is something that govern what kind of job that fits us. Apparently I am an "Artisan" after few rounds of personality tests. An artisan loves freedom, leads by taking action, seeks to have impact and variation, needs appreciation, a risk taker, problem solver and an opportunist. When I read the full description bout what I am, I immediately understand why I felt in constraint and bored working in the manufacturing line. I am just not that type of person that falls i...
