Pre Wedding Photo Selection

After 2 months of waiting, we finally could view our pre-wedding photo. The long wait due to us, missing a slot of pre-booked schedule and the photographer's schedule was really full to reslot us in. So there it goes, we arrived at As.pial at 4.30pm. Greeted happily by the crew and started immediately browsing through the photos. Our photographer Dylan was with us throughout, to assist on the selection.

First round, we looked through the 298 photos on slideshow. The crew was happily commenting such beautiful shots due to their expertise. Well well.. I was really awed by the photos honestly. The feelings were beyond words. I've always like to browse at others' pre-wed photo, trying to figure out what kind of style I like, now that I'm looking at my own pre-wed photos. We were really on the clouds. Totally love our photos so so much. We looked so beautifully in love, with some fierce poses looking like models, some candid shots capturing happy and light moments. This is what we love, exactly hit on the spot.

So from 298 photos, we cut down to 131 photos. More than half gone. But the next challenge is to meet our pre-agreed available poses, which is 50. Which is more or less impossible. Then, Dylan show us a few quotations on the additional poses to consider. Of course the first go, our eyes almost popped out, RM8k to match everything. BIG no way! Not on earth! So we continued to negotiate.

Finally we agreed to 88 poses, additional of 10 sets in the album, with all 298 no of softcopies given back to us. Also, our big canvas print was upgraded to 5 feet long. I requested for a bunting print and 50 pcs of 4R prints for my guests. The price for this upgrade was trimmed down to RM3.5k. Of course, at some point I still think it's a bit expensive for the total investment in this pre-wedding photoshoot. But again, it's once a lifetime (shouldn't really use too much of this phrase or will go bankrupt sooner) and we did enjoy the process and outcome so much. It's worth it. We finished the photo selection session passed 9pm that night. Ah, it's worth it.

So, here's some sneak preview of the unedited soft copies I got from them. Cheers~

This is the big canvas print to be located at our study:
- Can anyone spot the problem with this photo? We decided to let it be, remained a light & funny memory for us -

Few of my favourite shots:

So.. these are unedited. I wonder how much different will it be once they are edited? Perhaps will update again when we get the album designs, which is scheduled next month, October. So we knew we made the right choice with As.pial Wed.ding.

And here.. some behind-the-scene photo from the photoshoot days...

W.O.T.P.

10th of November 2012, the day we booked our first property together as husband and wife. It was indeed a huge milestone after we signed our ROM papers. This is a luxury condominium developed by Selangor Dredging Berhad and it's located at Bandar Tun Hussein Onn, Batu 9, Cheras Selatan. This is a very interesting development because it is situated on 8.9 acres of Freehold land with 4.2 acres of landscaped environment (Yes, half of the development is actually greenery!) The unit built-up range between 916 sq. ft. to 4,311 sq. ft. and sold for about RM450 - RM680 per square feet.  We bought a unit at Block C which is lowest block on the left. Location of W.O.T.P. with proposed MRT station few kilometers away.  The lovely greenery and facilities are really serene and awesome! Facilities: 50m lap pool Children’s wading pool Children outdoor play area Teen’s play area 2 nos. of indoor badminton courts Gym/ aerobi...

Flashbacks

- How it all started - I entered Victoria Institution, as a form 6 student. On the first day of school, we were divided into classes of FM 1 and FM 2. I was allocated in FM 2, and so did most of BBGS girls. We were contented with the arrangement, but not someone. He was from BBSP school, which I had never heard of. All other BBSP students were allocated in FM 1, with him as an alien in our class. I believe he was really angry with the arrangement. The class teacher promised him to swap, provided he top our FM2. Most of the time he won't be spending time in our class and preferred loitering around in the other class. We didn't really care much bout him and so did he. We didn't interact much, but in the class he was a gem to the teachers. Our chemistry teacher liked him so much that she told me, "that boy sitting at the edge of the class (referring to him) is a very good and clever boy ya?"I smirked :\ After many weeks, finally we had group...

What am I?

It has been some time since I last updated this blog. Heaps of stuff happened and I just had the time to pull a break and evaluate the events that happened to me in the past 1 month. I've changed my job, moving into sales line is not an easy decision to make. I was doubtful with myself until I really come on board. Perhaps it may be too soon to tell where I stand in this job, but I was really thankful that my current boss gave me an insight of myself. We had sessions to understand what are our temperament. This is something that govern what kind of job that fits us. Apparently I am an "Artisan" after few rounds of personality tests. An artisan loves freedom, leads by taking action, seeks to have impact and variation, needs appreciation, a risk taker, problem solver and an opportunist. When I read the full description bout what I am, I immediately understand why I felt in constraint and bored working in the manufacturing line. I am just not that type of person that falls i...
