Nostalgic Penang

Penang Island is a very special place for me. Because it was a place where me and Wilson gathered lots of sweet memories. Therefore, a trip back to Penang after 3 years was somehow nostalgic for us. Especially when we visited some places we used to hang out during Uni times and eat food we used to enjoy then.

- My love for prawn is satisfied with this plate of GIANT prawn + mantis prawn Ah Leng char kuey teow -

- Assam Laksa near Kek Lok Si, lovely taste -

- Curry Mee near Sunway hotel, we used to come here for supper :) -

- Penang Road cendol, famous thirst quencher that is a must have -

- Penang style Chee Cheung Fun with Prawn sauce, specially found only in Penang -

- "Mat Dou Yau" a.k.a. Leng lui Tong shui, a dessert one shall not miss in Penang -

- Seafood dishes at a very reasonable price in Weld Quay Restaurant near the port -

- Thai food at Genting Hill, the food is so-so but the ambient is breath-taking; especially the sunset, worth a thousand words -

Due to long distance relationship in KL and Penang during uni times, chances to visit him at Penang was so memorable to me. Every taste of Penang still brings back the bitter sweet memories that was hidden deep in my heart. It was a very lovely trip, especially when we have companionship of another newly wed couple. Somehow, we felt.. love is in the air :)

W.O.T.P.

10th of November 2012, the day we booked our first property together as husband and wife. It was indeed a huge milestone after we signed our ROM papers. This is a luxury condominium developed by Selangor Dredging Berhad and it's located at Bandar Tun Hussein Onn, Batu 9, Cheras Selatan. This is a very interesting development because it is situated on 8.9 acres of Freehold land with 4.2 acres of landscaped environment (Yes, half of the development is actually greenery!) The unit built-up range between 916 sq. ft. to 4,311 sq. ft. and sold for about RM450 - RM680 per square feet. We bought a unit at Block C which is lowest block on the left. What am I?

It has been some time since I last updated this blog. Heaps of stuff happened and I just had the time to pull a break and evaluate the events that happened to me in the past 1 month. I've changed my job, moving into sales line is not an easy decision to make. I was doubtful with myself until I really come on board. Perhaps it may be too soon to tell where I stand in this job, but I was really thankful that my current boss gave me an insight of myself. We had sessions to understand what are our temperament. This is something that govern what kind of job that fits us. Apparently I am an "Artisan" after few rounds of personality tests. An artisan loves freedom, leads by taking action, seeks to have impact and variation, needs appreciation, a risk taker, problem solver and an opportunist. Gatherings

I just had 2 gatherings recently. 1 with my high school aka childhood buddies and another with my university buddies. Really appreciate this little time we spent together, just to maintain our friendship. We were once really really close friends and really hope our friendships will last as long as it gets. Last 2 weeks, 22nd June 2008. Me, Sue and Voon had a small gathering to celebrate Sue's 25th birthday at Red Box Plus in Pavilion. Pavilion used to be our school!! Our beloved BBGS used to be on the very spot Pavilion is. Well, having gathering here bring nostalgic memories back to us. Come to think, I've known Sue for 18 years and Voon for 10 years!!
