Europe Trip Day 4-7

From day 4 - day 7 (22.09.08-25.09.08) was working days. We went to Company Q everyday by shuttle bus that leaves at 7am sharp from our apartment. I'm really amazed with the automation in Company Q's production. Felt ever lucky to have taken this offer. (This is despite our beloved HR) So for the first week, we were still familiarizing with the new company's style of work. I had to learn everything fast because I only have 2 weeks here. And suppose to contribute in the factory's start up soon in Malaysia.

Since it's not that good to display stuff of our company here, I show what are the food I had in their canteen. Some typical German food I suppose.. thanks to these food I lost 2 kg from the 2 weeks stay.

- Cheesey Pasta -

- Turkey & Potatoes -

- Bacon, Button Mushroom, Potatoes in cheese gravy -

- Chicken Drumstick, sour vege with french fries -

- Fried broccoli with "rice" -

- Curry soup with rice -

- My beloved breakfast, I miss Nutella :( -

These are basically what I had during lunch in company Q. I never, never finish one portion before. It was way too big for my stomach and it was so porky. Sigh... luckily we have nice dinners..

There was one night, on 24.09.08, we were sick of cooking and decided to have dinner outside. So considering our pockets, we opted for Vietnamese food near our apartment. These are what we had:

- Chinese food cooked by Vietnamese -

- Good times -

That night, we went to Hauptbanhoff to get train tickets to Prague. Me, Khoo and Soon Hee forgot to bring along our photostated passport and there were Polizeis at the station checking out! We ran out from the station and left others in there. They have their passports with them. So 3 of us were stranded at the street waiting for others to come back. And we took some silly photos, too ugly to show here! haha.. Well, too bad we didnt get the tickets that night. But luckily Prague was on despite many misunderstanding that happened. Or else will regret a lot..

That goes the weekdays in Germany...

... to be continued

What am I?

It has been some time since I last updated this blog. Heaps of stuff happened and I just had the time to pull a break and evaluate the events that happened to me in the past 1 month. I've changed my job, moving into sales line is not an easy decision to make. I was doubtful with myself until I really come on board. Perhaps it may be too soon to tell where I stand in this job, but I was really thankful that my current boss gave me an insight of myself. We had sessions to understand what are our temperament. This is something that govern what kind of job that fits us. Apparently I am an "Artisan" after few rounds of personality tests. An artisan loves freedom, leads by taking action, seeks to have impact and variation, needs appreciation, a risk taker, problem solver and an opportunist. When I read the full description bout what I am, I immediately understand why I felt in constraint and bored working in the manufacturing line. I am just not that type of person that falls i...

New Haircut

A haircut for the new beginning :) My previous hairstyle was BOB, I took courage to cut it short last 2 years. So for the last 2 years I didn't visit saloon at all. Finally today I thought I have to cut off my out-of-shape hair, I have to trim it back into shape! Quite bored with layered hairstyle, so I tried the straight cut.. to make my hair look fuller and straight. Not bad, I quite like this hairstyle~ It's a preparation before I make digital perm later :P Long & Straight hair - Love it!

R.O.M Preparation Pt 1

Took a glance at the "daisy-path" time line at the right corner of this blog, my oh my.. in less than 2 months will be our big moment - Registration of Marriage! For the past 1.5 months we have been actively preparing for this big day. This big day where we pen down our love, commitment, promise, companionship, MARRIAGE... on paper. 1. Date - We secured the 22/06/2012 at the National Registration Department. We had our registration form pinned up on the board and NO one objected to our union. 2. Attire - I would love a nice white knee length dress for this event. So we searched up and down at Mid Valley, Pavilion and Uptown etc for the perfect dress. Finally, from some forum recommendation, I visited the "D'Glit.ters" boutique at Plaza Damas, Seri Hartamas and found it. It's a white laced knee length dress tube topped with a beige colour ribbon at the waist line. And to match this dress I need a pair of beige/white/ivory coloured heels. We again...
