How To Be A Better Couple

10 steps to enjoying each other better... I guess this is how I managed to be with him for 7 years, and counting... 1. Be realistic about each other. Don't try to turn your partner into something he or she is not. Let's face it, guys-there's only 1 Pamela Anderson in the world, and even she has had her implants removed! Give your gal a break and understand that her physical appearance is NOT going to change overnight with the help of a few facials or treatments. And ladies, Brad Pitt has already been taken, so you're gonna have to do with what your guy is like! Chill out, love each other for what u are. There is more to your partner than what meets the eye. 2. Always talk things out. Now guys, I know this is not your fave pastime or mode of resolving issues, but you know what? This works with the gals. Don't make assumptions about each others' feelings. Learn to express yourself better so that your partner understands what you're angry about, or hur

My 2 Rascals

I was the only child in the family, for the first 6 years in my life. I've always wanted younger siblings so I can bully, I mean play with.. (;p) My mom told me that I used to pray to god to grant me siblings. - Praying hard - Before the arrival of my brothers, I was the princess at home. I get everything I want. My stubbornness came from "good" nurturing. Haha.. But I still wish to have siblings. You know why? Cause my other cousins have at least 3 siblings and they were always in a gang, and I was always alone. I used to talk to my toys (especially my soft toy bunny) and my replica Barbie Dolls. (my mom cheated me! used to get me market dolls and claimed they're expensive!) My cousins used to tease me crazy and retarded because of this. So I want my gang too! - My 6th birthday. I'm the only one, others were brothers and sisters - For how much I prayed, I know god has been good to me all these while. I'm granted 2 little brothers, MH was born when I was in St

My Dream Wedding

I just took a quiz on my dream wedding @ http://quiz.ivillage.com/astrology/tests/dreamweddingquiz.htm and here's my result: You scored 61.5% Elegant Earth Since you most likely favor cashmere sweaters, little black dresses and diamond stud earrings, it's not surprising that your dream wedding is a classy, timeless affair . Hollywood brides who get married in teeny bikinis leave you cold; elegant style icons such as Audrey Hepburn, Grace Kelly and Jackie Kennedy inspire you. Given your affinity for tradition, you probably have some Taurus, Virgo and Capricorn in your birth chart. Although you have a penchant for rich flavors, luxurious fabrics and designer labels, you splurge only on things of lasting value and high quality . Your guests appreciate your meticulous attention to detail -- little touches such as artfully arranged welcome baskets, organized pre- and post-wedding activities and thoughtful wedding favors ensure a seamless, well-executed celebration that everyone wi

1 Liter of Tears

I've been obsessed with this Japanese drama, 1 Liter of Tears lately. I spent sleepless nights watching this drama sobbing alone in my room. It is really rare for me to do so, I seldom love drama or chase the episodes like this. But this drama, 1 Liter of Tears really caught my attention. - Best Drama I watched - This drama is based on a true story written from the diaries of a fifteen-year-old girl, Aya Kitou. Aya is an ordinary girl, the daughter of a family who works at a tofu shop, and a local high school student. However, as Aya went through life that year, odd things began happening to her. She has been falling down, having a hard time performing simple tasks, and generally lacking in coordination. Her mother takes her to see a doctor for an examination. He informs Shioka that her daughter has a degenerative disease known as spinocerebellar atrophy, where the cerebellum of the brain gradually deteriorates. There will come a point where Aya will not even be able to move or sp

The New Me

After coming back from Germany, I did something extraordinary to myself. Very very unusual, I.. CUT MY LONG HAIR, SHORT! I'm so so surprised with my courage to do that. I had been keeping my long hair since >10 years ago. Was almost infinite for me to have my hair cut, according to my long time buddies. And yet, I cut my hair so short that I myself was shocked. From this... TO THIS.... - From the front - - Weird cause I just did rebonding - - The back - - The side - This is called BOB hairstyle. At first I wanted to imitate a singer's hairstyle, Hebe from the group SHE. But end up someone ask if I'm trying to have Jolin Tsai's hairstyle. Oh gosh! NoOooo..... I'm a FP = Failed Product. Sobs..

Europe Trip Day 11-15

29.09.08 , the 11th day I spent in Europe. It was a Monday, blue blue Monday. My mind is so far away from work, because I will be going home in few days time. Nothing much happened these days. Working time was so busy, to gather all information during this limited time. We had dinner as usual, Felix did the cooking and we did the eating. Normal chatting session, things were really great. - Company Q Office Block - 30.09.08 , the 12th day in Leipzig.. after the normal 8-5 working, I visited the Mini October Festival nearby our apartment. The fair was so romantic and sweet, the little stalls sold all kinda stuff I haven't seen before in real life. Eg: the chocolate dipped apple, the love-shaped gingerbread biscuits, spices, exotic animal parts merchandise and many many more. We tried the fresh wine, so yummy and sweet! One cup shared among us, for EURO2 a cup. Walking at this fair at night really gave me a feel that I'm in Europe :) - Spices Stall - - Crystals and bottles stalls

Europe Trip Day 9 & 10

After the long awaited, detailed planning, I am finally going to PRAGUE!! Together with 11 of my colleagues! We boarded the train at 6.58am from the Hauptbanhoff, again.. at 6.58am sharp the train moved. It took about 2 hours to reach Dresden, our transit town.. we got down from the train and changed into a Harry Potter train. Yeap! The train has cubicles which sit 5-6 person each and it's exactly like what we watched in Harry Potter movies. Being a super fans for Harry, I'm overjoyed! - Ok, Hogwarts first year students reporting!! (HG out of spec!) - Along the way we saw lovely sceneries, the yellowish green mountains, the flowing river, smoking chimneys, old nostalgic houses, lovely...plain lovely.. it will remain in memory for a long long time.. - Nobody managed to shoot really nice photos along the way - As we reached Prague, Sanju was late. She went to another train station instead of the one we were at. Anyhow she made it there and yeappie.. we've finally
