Weekend Projects by myself

Since Wilson and his bachelor friends are out to a road trip, I looked for some weekend projects to do in order I do not rot and grow mushrooms at home.

Saturday
I woke up really early, as early as 7.30am to have breakfast with mom and brother before sending him to uni for exam. Then me and my mom decided to drop by Ikea to buy a rack for misc items at our yard. That was the first time I visited Ikea at 9.30am, where there were really little shoppers around. We enjoyed strolling and looking for things we wanted without needing to queue 20mins for the big trolley and another 20 minutes at the cashier.

After shopping with mom, Cammy and Nicole decided to have lunch together at the newly opened Setia City Mall at Setia Alam. Well, since this mall would rather be the mall I frequent to, once I move to Setia Alam, I would really like to take a look at it. We reached the mall around 2.30pm and were amazed with the crowd there. The mall is not fully done yet but the crowd are overwhelming. We had lunch at Ichiban Boshi, Japanese Restaurant as it has nice environment for Nic's daughter, Michelle to feel comfy with.

Interior of the mall, all crowded on the 3rd day after official opening

Baby Michelle ain't feeling very excited bout the jap restaurant menu though..

But she does love shopping, just like all girls do.. insisted to "try on" this red MNG handbag"

After some catch ups and shopping, we then bid goodbye to Nic and baby Mic, they headed back to Klang. Before going home, Cammy suggested that we drop by Wil's new house since we're already in Setia Alam. So I drove to the housing area opposite Setia Mall to check out our new house. Geez, it's all ready! Security guard even let us stroll into the new houses and I quickly roamed around taking pictures of the house. It is beautiful, I'm uber excited bout moving there now.

So nice that we could cycle round the neighbourhood, with such beautiful sunset as background

After the adventurous exploration of the new house, Cammy and I have a cup of latte at Starbucks. Then we headed home and call it a day. A very eventful day.

Sunday
I was awake quite early as well, maybe my sub-concious mind followed Wil to his road trip tour and my sleeps weren't too deep. I should really learn to be more independent. Geez. Cammy's idea to visit a newly launch SOHO development showroom didn't turn out. So I decided to put on my artistic cap and "crafted" something out from the pin-up board I bought from Ikea yesterday. I have some cute stuff and some Polaroid photos, so I simply pin it up on the board. The final product looks like this:

I shall collect more cute stuff to pin on my lovely board, hrmm...

Then, by noon, my grandma called up and wanted to meet me and my mom. Ah well, she insisted that I have to come along. So alright, I drove with mom to grandma's house, pick her up and drove to aunt's house. We then have dinner together where the ladies yak yak and yak bout my wedding. They were really excited for me being the first and eldest granddaughter to tie the knot.

Such eventful weekend, it's just nice feeling but still I do feel missing the other half dearly. By Sunday night, Wil got back from his road trip and came over to my house. He bought many local titbits from places he went, so so happy to see him. Even though is just a weekend without him, it felts forever!

Titbits from Ipoh, Bidor, Teluk Intan etc.. I munched a pack of "Kai Zhai Peng" before manage to take picture :-P

W.O.T.P SPA Signing

*Taking a break from writing bout the wedding, since we have not received the photos yet* We have secured the purchase of W.O.T.P few months ago and we were too busy to settle for the Sales and Purchase Agreement signing. Finally on the 22nd of Jan, we made appointment with the lawyer to have the signing exercise at Wilson's office. Why 22nd of Jan? We did consult wofs.com's almanac to select the auspicious day for contract signing, and thus, 22nd of Jan. We were greeted with 2 big stacks of SPA papers and the lawyer slowly explain to us what were we signing on each documents. The lawyer is a little blur in her explanation but nevertheless she did tell us what's essential. Well..well.. even though it's not our first time signing SPA, but it's still necessary to know what we're signing. Since the legal fees are all bear by the developer, that includes the loan agreement legal fees as well, so we simply signed both the agreements together with the devel...

Pregnancy Updates: Half way there!

I'm 20 weeks pregnant now! It's a halfway milestone and it has been really smooth *touch wood* so far since the beginning of 2nd trimester. The vomiting and nausea seems to be gone overnight as I moved into Week 14. The very day my iPhone app congratulate me on my milestone, I felt a gush of energy rushing back to my body. And, for the first time in 3 months I felt... hungry! It was such a great feeling, I got ready to work and before heading out, I put up joss sticks to thank god for this miracle. And I kept my fingers, toes and everything crossed this feeling last. I bet my baby is a very punctual baby, just like the daddy. So with the deadly morning sickness gone, I am feeling myself again and started to enjoy the pregnancy much. My rhintis seems to get better after hubby installed the air purifier in our room and I get good sleeps every night with clear nostrils. My bump is showing and everyone is quite surprised to see a bump at just beginning of 3rd month. I research...

Bali Trip Day 2

We woke up the next morning, feeling all fresh with the gentle cooling breeze and chirping of the birds outside the chalet. As we opened the door, we were thrilled by the tropical Bali feelings round the chalet area. These scenes were so familiar, in the movies, magazines, novels, commercials, cafes, clubs etc.. the "Bali" style; now we're experiencing it in person. - Abangan Bungalow - - Our chalet a.k.a villa - - The walkway in the hotel - - Other types of villa - We ordered our breakfast, scrambled eggs, toasts, fruits and coffee. It was a real relaxation having breakfast at the chalet balcony, looking at the greens. I love this feelings, away from hassle, away from workloads, away from problems. Ah, so divine. :) - Relaxing on the couch, outside the villa, after breakfast - After breakfast we took a stroll down at the Ubud streets. First I saw the signature Bali gate, I was thrilled! "Take photo! Take photo!" I shouted.. So, I posed and took photo. Then, I p...
