Love Blossoms

Attended Ai Teng's ROM earlier of the month, on a beautiful date 09.09.09 at the Chinese Assembly Hall in town. It was a date where hundreds of couple tied a knot, signed a paper to acknowledge their commitment to each other. Witnessing this event gave me a big smile both on my face (photo taking mar...) and also in my heart. The lovely couples went through a few steps before being officially pronounced as husband and wife. First they exchanged vows, massively as there were hundreds of couples. Then they would come to the signing tables, six couples by six couples to sign the marital papers. After signing, couples marched towards the stage to walk through the happiness door (a flowery wired "door" on the stage). Then they got back to their seats and exchanged rings, kiss and drinks. There were complimentary bird-nest drink from the organizers. Lastly all couples cut their wedding cakes and took group photographs before ending the ceremony. My lovely zi-mui and her newly w

One Year Old

15.09.2008 A date I commenced work in Company Q. So do the other 30s of us, all from different background bringing different goals and dreams in a new environment. It all happen in a blink of eye, we are one year old now, our experiences are one year old now. Like it or not, we walked through mud pool with safety shoes, we sailed through problems with sleepless nights. What's cooking? we eat 'em. What's falling, we embrace 'em. That was how we go about, for the pass one year. Maybe it wasn't so fun for me compared to other colleagues whom joined Company Q together. I was only given a candy as to spend 2 miserably short weeks in Germany. I was tucked in the mud pool when others are happily skiing in snowy mountains. I was looking through tonnes of drawings and design documents when others are having team building in Venice. I was awake at night when others showed me droplets of snowflakes. I was eating mixed rice in contractor's canteen when others were munching

Bali Trip Day 7

It was the last day of our 1 week long holiday, Day 7 came before I'm ready. It's time to do last minute shopping. We woke up by 6.30am that day, walked to the wet market in Ubud, 20mins away from our hotel. It was a nice experience strolling in the wet market, looking at a totally different culture there. The busy market started building up crowd as early as 7am. But it was considered late, as markets in Malaysia already crowded by 5am, yes, way before dawn. We were disappointed because the souvenirs shop weren't open this early, to make ways for vege, fruits sellers. Look at the vibrant colours, beautiful isn't it? Flowers for offerings. I like the pink ones. :) After a drink at the stall, we slowly witness shops opening one by one. So we started our hunting, I bought so much that almost spent all my indon rupees. Only kept a 100,000 rupee for airport taxes. After the spending spree, we headed back to hotel to pack up. From 1 luggage, to 3 fully packed luggage. I am s
