Alright, the very next weekend we made a visit to the feng shui master Kok Chong Ming to plot our best dates to wed.
Factors the master considered in choosing our best wed dates from the Tōngshèng :
- Parent's birthdays and birthtimes
- Couple's birthdays and birthtimes
- Weekend (ease of hosting dinners)
- Special believes from different dialect of the Chinese
With these, we have made choices of the following dates:
R.O.M
22nd of June 2012 (Friday)
Actual Day (Tea Ceremony)
12th of January 2013 (Saturday)
Following these 2 important dates are other chinese customary dates & times such as betrothal, installation of bridal bed, hair combing ceremony etc. These dates & times to be provided later, after we have confirmed on the major dates i.e. the Actual Day.
With the auspicious dates known, we could survey the venue for hosting wedding reception! This is getting really exciting!
