Wedding Reception Venue

This being the year of Dragon, it seems to be astrologically auspicious year to wed! So the famous restaurants and hotels are basically being booked like hot cakes for wedding reception! For us, we opted for reception in a Chinese restaurant, reason being our parents prefer so and generally the food in chinese restaurants taste better than hotels. So we narrow down our choices of restaurant based on these criteria: Convenient and known location Cosy and comfortable ambient No issue on car parks Good or simply acceptable food range Most importantly.. still available for our wedding date! So before visiting the venues, I made calls to check availability of the short listed restaurants such as Grand Imperial, Tai Thong, Oriental group restaurants.. I was so shocked that most of these restaurant were actually booked on our selected date and it is like still 10 months to that date! We then decided to walk in to a few other restaurants I have yet to call, just to get a feel

The proposal

Out of the recent stress, Wilson and I had a 2 days 1 night weekend getaway to Morib Gold Coast Resort. The weekend getaway was as simple and nice as it could be to rest off our entangled brain muscles. That night of the getaway, whilst me playing with the new camera at the hotel room balcony, trying to capture the stars and moon into picture.. an out of the world moment happened. Wilson looked at me, devastated being unable to capture the stars and moon in picture, he said.. "My dear, the stars are so far away, forget about it, I have one right here for you" My heart dropped. Right in front of me, the box. I have imagined this moment for long, for as long as 11 years of our courtship. And it finally realize in front of me. "Would you like me to open it?" I was overwhelmed, couldn't open my mouth to speak a word. I simply nodded my head, softly. The glow of the diamond ring sparkles through the dark night. It is the brightest star I'
