Since I'm a member of the Emergency Respond Team in my company, I was sent for a fire safety training in Cyberjaya Bomba. The training includes putting off small fire with fire extinguisher, identifying fire fighting equipments, rescuing casualties from fire, marching and most challenging was to run a fire incident simulation.
It was n-th years ago since I last had a marching session. That was with St John's Ambulance, although I used to had much heavier marching session... but now, marching at this age gave me fatigues all over the body. Aiya, I'm only 25.. the last marching session was like 10 years ago, haha.
So it was a tough 4 days training, now I knew how to fight small fires and respond to fire incidents appropriately.

I was holding the hose with a colleague supporting me at the back. The water was pressurized to only 3bar and I flung to the back when it first started. My colleague supporting me wasn't prepare for my "flung" and I stepped on his legs.
So now I knew how to operate the fire standpipe, to put on the coupling and to carry the hose to the incident place. The hose weigh 14kg!
Yeap, this is the training squad with the trainers. I'm the only girl in this squad, in the emergency team I would be leader for the first aid group. I guess there is a fitness test arranged for the squad later, really worried if I could pass the test. I'm so unfit, later need first aid from others instead.. haha..
